Volume two of the 'A Man Called Adam Collected Works' series ventures into clubland and features some of their very best dancefloor remixes. The sonic soundscapes evident in their original productions, and Sally's cut glass vocals, are the perfect ingredients for the dancefloor alchemy of these stripped down reversions by some of clubland's finest DJs and producers. From the lazy disco dub of the Idjut Boys to the bump and swing of Sensory Productions, the smooth deep House of a Tom Middleton mix to the proto Balearic eccentricities of Andrew Weatherall and Chris Coco, the album traces AMCA's journey into the nether world of Dub and House. Remixes from Andrew Komis, One Latin Rascal and Ray Roc, and their own remix of the classic 'Que Tal America?' for legendary Chicago imprint 'Prescription Records', illustrate neatly AMCA's enduring love affair with U.S. club culture, while cuts from Jamaica's South Rakkas Crew, Bamma, Slam, and Justin Robertson prove the diversity of their beat logic. Most of the featured tracks have never been released on CD and AMCA's own 'Head Mix', 'Dogs of Peace', and the 'Mideval' edits have never previously appeared in any format. This collection of rare and previously unreleased gems has again been hand-picked by Sally and Steve, and the selected cuts provide a comprehensive overview of A Man Called Adam 'remixed', and of their influence on the cultural map of two decades of dance.
