Balearic House legends A Man Called Adam have been 'down to the sea and back' once more and for Fight or Flight, the third single from their forthcoming album The Girl with a Hole in Her Heart (May 2023), they return to sunnier climes. On this deliciously dreamy Balearic House cut, hypnotic pianos are laced with stabbing strings and a bouncing Latin bassline, while Sally's plaintive, Blue Nile-style vocal urges us to lose ourselves in the music and dance from dusk till dawn.

In the album's accompanying booklet, Sally Rodgers writes of the track:

'I'd been playing that bumpy 90s Latin Jazzy House sound out at my DJ gigs and on my radio shows. So, for Fight or Flight we drew inspiration from tracks by the likes of Ferrer and Sydenham, Grant Nelson remixes, the old Loft Classics releases or Latin-House tracks from the Nervous Records catalogue. My friend, DJ Tia Cousins, and I had laughed about our mutual love of what she described as 'mum-house' (Jennifer Lopez – Waiting for Tonight is a good example) and we went hard at trying to hit those kinds of notes on Fight or Flight.'
